СТРАДАТЕЛЕН ЗАЛОГ - както и в Бълг. Език, така и в Английския ТУК подлогът и допълнението разменят местата си. За Анг. Език е характерно, че при Страдателния Залог може подлогът изобщо да се изпусне, тъй като не е важно КОЙ извършва действието, а кога, къде и как, при какви обстоятелства е извършено самото действие !!!
ПРИМЕРИ:
1. That house was burnt in 1867 by the Grand Fire.
2. All the apples were eaten by these girls and boys.
3. A bottle of milk was drunk by the baby.
4. The fence was excellent painted by Tom and his friends.
5. That old bridge was built my master Kolu Ficheto before two centuries .
6. The car was driven by the girl when crashed.
БЕЗ ПОДЛОГ:
1. The walls were blackened during the fire. That why they were painted in white after a while.
2. At the party all the sandwiches were eaten and all the juice was drunk.
3. The project will be finished next month.
4. The books in the library have been read many times.
5. The car had been bought a long time before using.
6. The broken window is being repaired just now.
7. How many tales were being retold to the children over the years …
8. That stupid letter was written last autumn.
9. The nice villa has been built near the river and the forest.
